This year, Cisco’s Be the Bridge Campaign will support more than 1,900 nonprofits and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) worldwide through employee donations, volunteerism, and matching from the Cisco Foundation.

What: Worldwide Giving Campaign

Be the Bridge: Annual Giving Campaign is Cisco's signature employee giving campaign that builds on our decades-long commitment to supporting our communities around the world.

Our employee giving campaign empowers our global workforce to support social issues that are important to them or their communities. During last year's campaign, employees supported organizations focused on shelter, water access, nutrition, hunger and emergency care. This year, we have expanded the scope of the campaign to include over 1,900 organizations worldwide - regardless of focus area.

Impact Multiplied

Donations of US$1 or more made through the Annual Giving Campaign are matched—multiplying the impact of every gift. Volunteer events build a human network of support in our communities, and every employee volunteer hour is matched by a $10 donation from the Cisco Foundation:

  • In 2015, Cisco’s inaugural Be the Bridge Campaign raised millions to change the world. More than 8,500 employees participated, generating $4.5 million dollars in direct employee donations and matching funds from the Cisco Foundation for 406 community partners.
  • In 2016, Cisco hopes to inspire 15,000 employees worldwide to support their cause of choice through donations and volunteerism. Together, we hope to raise more than US$5 million in employee donations and matching funds.
