Cisco’s Global Hunger Relief Campaign generated $1.7 million in employee donations for hunger agencies around the world in 2012.
With matching contributions from the Cisco Foundation and Chairman Emeritus John Morgridge’s TOSA Foundation, total contributions were over $4 million.
Cisco employees also contributed more than 38,000 volunteer hours during the campaign, smashing the goal of 12,500 hours.
Thanks to all Cisco employees for their extraordinary generosity and passion for the underserved in communities around the globe. Their donations will provide at least 16 million meals through organizations working to address the immediate need of hunger and find long-term solutions to this global challenge.
